BEWARE OF THE SCAMMERS

Zip Dog does not take part in the sale of animals over the internet.  Internet Pet scammers pirate legitimate websites and use logos from trusted companies to make themselves appear legitimate. They are criminals that only care about your money!!! Do not let the adorable pictures of puppies fool you! Please use caution when purchasing pets on the web and avoid the following:  

•     Someone offering free or cheap puppies and all you pay is the shipping  

•     Require additional money for temperature controlled crate/ shipping insurance  

•     Payment by Western union, Money Gram, gift card, etc. (Only buy online with a major credit card that can be disputed.)  

•     Website uses incorrect English or fonts do not match-up.  

•     Will not allow pet to be picked up if you offer to drive/fly to collect the pet.  

If you see an offer that is too good to be true, it probably is.  Please check with your local shelter, animal control, or rescue groups that often have pure bred pets that need a fur-ever home.
